The English German School prepares students from ages 4-17 at mulitple levels and in many languages everyday!

English German School preschoolers learn fast! When they complete their first course they are prepared for school in reading, writing, mathematics and English.

Young children have a keen interest in the language and learn several languages ​​at the same time! EGS students are highly motivated and one of our goals is to maintain their interest! Our teachers always seek to engage youngsters with dynamic games, team competitions, songs, stories, poetry and much more. EGS students have many opportunities to learn new languages quickly, easily, and more importantly, correctly and efficiently.

For adolescents the EGS language program focuses on academic skills combined with real-world application. Implementing digital audio, video and other interactive resources, EGS instructors facilitate learning by allowing students to guide their knowledge development through discussions of global issues, practice of developing essays, reading original literature texts, listening to the news and messages at a natural pace and working out complex grammatical structures. In addition, EGS students find themselves well-prepared to pass their national exam and multiple Cambridge exams.  Year after year our successful students have reached the advanced level or higher and have entered some of the best universities in Russia and beyond.

Skill Level upon completion

1 Beginner -  The learner has the ability to speak and understand simple phrases on familiar topics and understand very simple written proposals, write a short simple text on a postcard, fill out forms with information about yourself. Vocabulary - 300 words

2 ElementaryThe learner can communicate with simple phrases on familiar topics; read simple texts, ads, brochures, menus, schedules; write personal letters, simple e-mails. Vocabulary - 600 words

3 Pre-IntermediateThe learner communicates adequately in almost all situations; understands the  main points of television and radio programs, meetings, reads and writes personal and formal letters. Vocabulary - 1200 words

4 Intermediate - The ability to participate in complex discussions on familiar topics; understand most TV news, TV programs on current events, movies; read modern novels and write essays, reports, letters, and reports. Vocabulary - 1700 words.

5 Upper Intermediate - The learner can demonstrate communication fluently and effectively in difficult and professional situations; understand television programs and films; read literary works and write letters, essays, reports on complex subjects. Vocabulary - 2300 words.

6 AdvancedThe ability to communicate fluently with idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms; understand any spoken language speakers in the natural rapid pace; read complex articles and literary works stylistically competent to write complex compositions. Vocabulary - 3000 words.

Registration starts in May. Classes start the first week of September. Seats are limited so pre-registration is highly recommended.

Summer - Middle of June until September 1. Special Note: Summer holidays for school children are different than adults.
